H.264 / MPEG-4 PART 10
The H.264/MPEG-4 Part 10 standard is the emerging industry standard for video compression and decompression. CODECs based on this standard offer outstanding advantages and improvements over existing legacy standards.
Databolts' implementation of the H.264 CODEC is based on the ITU/ISO ratified standard but has been developed from the ground up and does not use the published reference code. This approach has provided Databolts a significant competitive advantage over other companies using less efficient development processes, and provides an H.264 CODEC that is many factors of ten faster than the reference code model.
